Four years since they officially became a couple. Three since they beat the Volturi vampires. Two years since Bella and Edward's marriage. Five years since Bella's death. Edward has shut himself off from the mortal and vampire world from pain, and his family is attempting to lure him out to fight in the first fight against the Volturi. The reason behind the fact that Bella is dead, is that Edward had gotten her pregnant. The child had killed Bella when being born, even though they did try to save her but it didn't work. That is also the reason that he has shut himself off from the worlds, aside from his & Bella's child. Many trys to bring the stubborn Edward back to the worlds have ended up in a dead end. But now the Volturi have started to get out of control. Why? Because it seems that the Volturi found out the Cullen's being friendly with "werewolves" and hiding the wolves from the Volturi. Sam promised that if Jacob ever came back that he would keep Jacob from hurting Edward. The Cullens only know this from when they had buried Bella on the line so that both "werewolves" and Cullens could visit the body. There was also a gravestone with Bella's name on it in the Forks Cemetery but that is only for the humans, who don't know the truth about Bella's death. The humans think that Bella had drown on the honeymoon and that the body couldn't be found.
